Thinking about the characters from the show, we decided to compile a list of what their responses might be to visiting the dentist, based on their personalities and what we know about them.
Disclaimer: We are not experts on all things Parks and Recreation, although we do know a lot! We realize some of the descriptions in our infographic may match the personalities of the characters, but it’s good to note that in the show each of these characters actually mention going to the dentist, which is great! Some examples:
Ron’s Tooth Prank – Ron pulls out his tooth during a Parks and Rec meeting and tells the audience he actually went to the dentist a few days before and had it extracted, but he loves a good prank.
Ben’s Dental Plan – When Ben is interviewing for the accountant job (I don’t remember which time this was; maybe the first time!), he mentions that they have great dental benefits!
Tom’s Dental Visit – When Tom goes to talk to Jeremy Jamm, he is seen in the dentist chair at Jamm’s dental office. Jamm compliments Tom on how healthy his gums are.
Andy Goes to the Dentist – Ron actually teaches Andy a great lesson about dental in this episode. Andy hurt his tooth but refuses to go back to the dentist. Ron tells him if he doesn’t go to the dentist and get it fixed, it’s only going to get worse!
