Your dentist may be pushing for floss or toothbrush stocking stuffers, but seriously, who wants that for Christmas? For most of us, a dental-related gift is just a thinly veiled hint to get some bleach strips and a breath mint.
To counteract all the “dental gift lists” popping up in your dentist’s office, we thought we would put together a more “helpful” list of dental gift ideas that might actually make the recipient smile (or gag, depending on how much you like them).
1. Bacon Floss
For those days when minty fresh just can’t beat hickory-smoked grease.
2. Pickle Floss
When was the last time your mouth felt fresh after chowing down on that briny green snack?
3. May the Floss Be With You Mug
If you find your friend’s lack of a funny mug disturbing, use the Force (or just Amazon) to place this under their Christmas tree.
4. Denture Bottle Opener
If you’re lucky, they might actually try putting it in their mouth to use it.
5. Buck-Tooth Pacifier
Just a little friendly encouragement to brush the baby’s teeth.
On the other hand, a discount dental plan can actually be the perfect gift for someone you love. Perhaps they haven’t been able to procure a dental plan for themselves and would deeply appreciate being able to take care of their teeth.
Happy Holidays from 1Dental.com!
I got my wife (a dental hygienist) some awesome gifts from this site.
I got her these awesome earrings and dental christmas ornaments. she loved them.
These types of gifts are very fun for kids. Since they are a very important audience in the world of dentistry I think this is great. It creates the fun and awareness to dentistry.
How can you call bacon floss boring!?!??!? It sounds delish! I wish my dentist would use it when I was at the dentist!
If a person can satisfy their craving for bacon with flavored toothpaste and avoid consuming the real thing they’ll undoubtedly be healthier for it! Personally I can think of numerous other flavors that have more appeal. For starters how about coffee … since I stopped drinking the real thing.
Thanks for stopping by, Ron! Coffee-flavored toothpaste would certainly be interesting.
Too Funny! My dogs do have chicken-flavored toothpaste; they would probably LOVE the bacon one … but I wouldn’t! :-)
hahaha these are too cute! I should get that toothpaste for my bacon loving father in law. lol
Happy Holidays! :)
There is somehow an abundance of bacon-flavored products on the market these days. :-)
Eeeeewwwwww bacon toothpaste and pickle floss?? So weird! The Buck-tooth pacifier is pretty funny though :)
